DramaRama's annual performing arts festival is now in its 15th spectacular year! From hilarious slapstick comedy to dazzling dance-theatre and tantalizing burlesque, DramaRama and DramaRama Junior offer New Orleanians a chance to see outstanding new work from locally and nationally known artists!

Since its humble beginning, DramaRama has seen dramatic growth--not only in audience size, but also in the number of artists clamoring to participate. This year we will present over 50 companies on 7 stages at 2 venues. Pay particular attention to this year's featured performers: Cripple Creek Theatre Company (purveyors of hard-hitting, take-no-prisoners political drama), Jeff Becker (visionary and set designer extraordinaire), Happensdance (energetic, mind-blowing contemporary dance), and Pat Bourgeois (New Orleans' funniest, most off-the-wall playwright)!

DramaRama15 is actually two very special events:

• DramaRama, featuring new works in theatre, dance, performance art, and other mediums will be held at the Contemporary Arts Center, 900 Camp Street on Saturday, April 19.

• DramaRama Junior, featuring puppetry, storytelling, dance and other works for kids will take place at the Louisiana Children's Museum, 420 Julia Street on Saturday, April 12.
